Testimonials
"Everyone tells you how hard renovations can be and you hear numerous horror stories about jobs and tradesmen, but we feel blessed that we have found the best- our journey has been smooth sailing. Although it’s lovely to have our home back and no early morning starts, it was a pleasure to have our home built by Rossmark and we have no hesitation in recommending them to any one. All trades were respectful, friendly and cleaned up after them selves, which is very rare. Most importantly was the budget, it was spot on and no surprises." December 2008

First Floor Extensions - Sutherland Shire
The Brief |
|
The client needed additional space for their teenage children now and in the future, both living space and general accommodation. The proposal had to be sympathetic with the existing street scape of Barden ridge, with an upper floor addition being the most preferable solution.

The Result |
|
We proposed a first floor extension with ground floor renovations. At first floor level we constructed a master bed with walk-in robe and ensuite along with an additional 2 bedrooms and 3 way bathroom facilities ensuring that amenities can be used by multiple tannages with privacy. The First floor extensions saw the master bedroom positioned to capture valley views and solar access to galley style retreat. The new kitchen size was doubled to that existing by the removal and utilisation of existing dead space while the previous bedroom was open to the kitchen family room ensuring that the renovation had integration as part of the design concept, while still considering privacy and thermal comfort to the remaining living spaces. The remaining ground floor space saw the existing master bedroom being utilised by the remaining teenaged adult and a dedicated study made use of the remaining small bedroom.
