The Brief |
To create a new floor plan that would give the family more living space and room for independence. This involved creating a new family room, 2 new bedrooms for the children, a new master bedroom, new open plan living room and kitchen. |

The Result |
Zoning to the first floor space provides privacy to the bedrooms and the shower room. Thermal and acoustic improvements have enabled a more comfortable space for the family. A home that now enables solar access to the living space, offers a servery window to an extended deck, privacy to an existing bathroom facility, clever use of the space for storage and robes. Window placement and operation now captures afternoon breeze while the performance glazing helps maintain a more consistent temperature. |
