The Brief
To design and build a 4 bedroom family home that inspires day to day living and cater for their future needs
The Result
The 35 square home was designed to fit the natural contours of the site and ensure the main living area has a physical connection to the new pool and landscape areas. The rear northern aspect has been embraced allowing winter sun to flow into the main living area and mid-level study. The 3 meter ceiling in the main living area along with oversized door and window systems ensure a true connection to the large partially covered alfresco area. The master suite is zoned to the north taking in water glimpse’s and tree filled vista, while the general bedrooms are at the opposite end of the home offering privacy to all occupants. The north south orientation is a natural fit to the breeze way on both levels and ads to the sustainability credentials of this beautiful new home. The projects brief was meet ensuring the client can “turn key” and enjoy this inspiring new home without having to design, organize and coordinate their own pool and landscape construction which is general hazard when building a new home.
