The Brief
To design and construct a second storey addition that had a coastal feel, affordable and would accommodate a growing family.
The Result
Using Complying development under NSW housing code we were able to design and deliver this quality second storey addition on time and on budget. This process saw the client save money and had the addition under way in shorter time frame. While the modern form of the home provides a pleasing aesthetic appeal it’s the function of the home that truly counts. The children have the own break out space at first floor level, while the solar passive design of the rear living room allows the addition to harvest valuable winter sun while offering shade to the summer sun. Performance glazing combined with window placement and selected insulation and cladding system make this second storey addition a very comfortable home to live all year round.
