Project

Second Storey Addition – Lane Cove, Lower North Shore

Extensions

Lane Cove, Lower North Shore   $375K+
2 Adults, 2 children

The Brief

To design and deliver a second storey addition with ground floor alterations using NSW housing code for complying development.

The Result

Approval using NSW housing code was granted within 14 days, this limited the rent expenditure for our client as the home was only recently purchased and was unliveable during the proposed works. The second storey addition integrates neatly with the brick veneer exterior. The existing rear extension was removed and re built providing livingĀ areas to the northern orientation. The second storey contains another livingĀ area facing north with the stair on the southern side providing airflow through the additional living space. General internal renovations were undertaken providing a great result for our client.

What the client said

Rossmark has been truly impressive. We have used them to make substantial modifications to our home, including addition of an upper floor, with the work lasting nearly six months. From the very first meeting it was evident that Rossmark were very professional and pleasurable to deal with, meticulous in evaluating the options and giving us very detailed information on the products they use as part of the quote. Once work commenced we could see how well organised and thorough they were, kept us fully appraised of how things were progressing, and even rectified, at their own time and cost, several issues that were revealed in the existing house. In the end they finished work ahead of schedule, and delivered an excellent quality finish that I am very impressed with. I maintained a blog of week-by-week progress, and am happy for others to see it to get an idea of how things went. All-in-all, I have no hesitation in giving Rossmark the highest possible recommendation, and have every intention to use them again to do further work on our house.
